Uxbridge Karate Trophy Winners

Uxbridge Karate Club trophy presentations took place after training on Monday 5th July.
Congratulations to both Michael Smith (Machi Tiger Pee Wee) and Spencer Arnold (Senior) trophy winners. Both are worthy holders of the club trophies and I did notice a proud parent in the background!

Congratulations and continued focus and effort on your karate journeys.

Training currently

Currently because of the covid restrictions the club is not training at the dojo. If you are one of our current members we always ask you continue with your personal training with either kata or simple basic exercises.

As soon as we can we will be open again and hope to see you and anyone interested in training at Uxbridge Karate Club at the dojo.

2021 A New Dawn

At this rate the only Dawn happening will be the dojo cleaner who by the way is a great bloke with an odd taste in pinafores. Non-smoker though.

As you will no doubt understand classes are still suspended until we emerge from Tier4 or whatever tier they decide next until we are clear full stop. To this end if you are a student please continue to practice in the safety of your own garden or room in the house with a little space. Everything can be done on the spot with a little care. Speaking of which don’t over do it or practice on your younger siblings incase you hurt them.

We will be adding another location for training on a Sunday at 12.00pm in Ruislip the address is on the website so note it down. That’s my news for today, take care keep to the rules and hopefully we can get back training together soon along with some new members to increase our training partners.

All the best for 2021 and I look forward to seeing you soon on a dojo floor near me.

1 March 2017 The dragon has landed!

The birth of the Machi Dojo website and blog.

I hope you will enjoy reading our information and thoughts on events within our Shotokan Karate world. There is always plenty to talk about, course we’ve been on, examinations and of course useful tip and hint on how to join the club and take that first step to becoming a black belt. First dan that is, it doesn’t end there does it. Oss Sensei
